Students,
I'm writing this email to make sure everyone knows that you
basically have an "unlimited" number of times to do a homework
problem in MyMathLab. Well at least up to the due date for the
assignment.
Let me explain. You normally have 3 attempts to do a problem. If you
miss the problem 3 times then on the 3rd attempt if you look below
for a tab labeled "similar exercise" you can click this and
MyMathLab will give you a completely new problem that you get 3 new
attempts at. This process can continue until the due date of the
assignment.
Also be sure and use the "Help Me Solve This", "View an Example",
"Textbook" and "Ask My Instructor" buttons when you have difficulty
doing a homework problem!
The "Connect to a Tutor" button is a service NOT affiliated with
EGSC and is an additional cost. It would be your independent
decision to use this service.
If you use the "Ask My Instructor" button the problem is sent to my
email address. I will get a solution back to you eventually.
(This should be your last choice when getting help on a particular
problem in MyMathLab. Try to get as far as you can with a problem on
your own before you use this.)
