MID-TERM  TEST  Information
Math 1113 Precalculus - Online Testing Instructions
(READ VERY CAREFULLY !)

Students,

Reminder  the MID-TERM test is scheduled for Monday 10-7-13 Tuesday 10-8-13 ONLY!
(NO OTHER OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE UNLESS WE HAVE TALKED!)

The mid-term is comprehensive and will consist of questions from the previous 2 tests!     
THERE IS ONLY 1 ATTEMPT FOR THIS TEST!

YOU HAVE TO COME TO THE STATESBORO CAMPUS TO TAKE THIS TEST!

An email message will be sent to you about a week before the test date to give instructions on how to sign up for a time to take the mid-term.
Be sure and look out for this email message!

SIGN UP  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!        
IF YOU DON"T SIGN UP FOR A TIME SLOT THERE WILL NOT BE A TEST FOR YOU!



IF YOU SIGN UP TO TAKE THE TEST ON
MONDAY 10-7-13 IN STATESBORO at 6:30 PM or
TUESDAY 10-8-13  IN STATESBORO at 5 PM or 6 PM.
 COME TO ROOM # H135.
IN THE EGC Statesboro BUILDING HWY 301 South.

YOU SHOULD NOT MISS ANY OF YOUR OTHER CLASSES TO TAKE THIS TEST!  

MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY FOR THE TEST.
You should have viewed all the videos (several times if necessary) and done ALL the homework.
If you haven't done these things you are behind and won't be ready for the test! 
Remember tutoring is available if you need it. NOTICE the DUE DATE for the MyMathLab homework.

BE SURE AND BRING YOUR CALCULATOR FOR THE TEST.  (Sorry no cell phones are allowed to be used as calculators.)

Practice problems are available on the course website. Of course you should do this to get more practice getting ready for the test and to see if you are ready for the test.

Practice test problems are also available on MyMathLab like the homework but instead of clicking on the "Homework" tab you will click on "Quizzes & Tests" tab. The MyMathLab site grades the practice problems for you to get feedback on how well you know the material. Continue to do the practice problems until you get a good score!

USUALLY IF A STUDENT DOES WELL PRACTICING FOR THE TEST AND HOMEWORK THEN THEY DO WELL ON THE TEST.

NOTE: To practice for the mid-term you should do both practice problem sets on MyMathLab . The mid-term will be questions form the previous 2 tests!

The mid-term test count as 300 points of your final grade!


PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING A PHOTO ID WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME TO TAKE THE TEST.


I MUST have proof of identification to let you take the test.  Drivers license or a student id card is fine.

I would also look over the course syllabus for additional information.
