MID-TERM  TEST  Information

Math 1540 Calculus I  Online -Testing Instructions

(READ VERY CAREFULLY !)

Students,

Reminder the MID-TERM test is scheduled on Tuesday 9-28-21 or Tuesday 9-29-21 ONLY!
(NO OTHER OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE UNLESS WE HAVE TALKED!)

The mid-term is comprehensive and will consist of questions from chapter 1, 2 and 3!     
THERE IS ONLY 1 ATTEMPT FOR THIS TEST!  Be sure and do the practice midterm on MyMathLab! I suggest doing it several times.

You will take the midterm on MyMathLab with ProctorU!    Note: There is an additional fee to do the test on ProctorU.
You will go to www.proctoru.com to signup for a day and time to take your test with ProctorU. You can also take it on campus.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY FOR THE TEST.
You should have viewed all the videos (several times if necessary) and done ALL the homework.
If you haven't done these things you are behind and won't be ready for the test! 
Remember tutoring is available if you need it. NOTICE the DUE DATE for the MyMathLab homework.

YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO USE A TRADITIONAL HAND-HELD CALCULATOR FOR THE MIDTERM TEST. You may NOT use notes or books of any kind. A formula sheet will be provided. No one is allowed to help you on the test. No cell phones are allowed.

USUALLY IF A STUDENT DOES WELL PRACTICING FOR THE TEST AND HOMEWORK THEN THEY DO WELL ON THE TEST.

NOTE: To practice for the mid-term you should do the practice midterm test on MyMathLab . The mid-term will be questions form the previous 2 tests!

The mid-term test counts as 300 points of your final grade!

YOU HAVE TO SHOW PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION TO BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE TEST. NO EXCEPTIONS.
